How Do I Manually Adjust Image Size in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 8:25 pm

Whenever you upload an image into Canva, it automatically adjusts the size of the image to fit the dimensions of your design. However, there may be times when you want to manually adjust the size of an image. This can be done by clicking on the image and then dragging the corner handles to resize it.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, adjusting the image size in Canva can result in the loss of image quality. Make sure to check the image quality after adjusting the size to make sure that it is still acceptable.

If you want to crop an image, you can click on the “Crop” icon in the top toolbar. This will allow you to select an area of the image that you want to keep. The rest of the image will be cropped away.

You can also use the “Image Effects” menu to add special effects to your images. This menu can be found by clicking on the image and then selecting “Image Effects” from the drop-down menu.
