How Do I Manually Create a Panorama in Photoshop?

Last updated on January 24, 2023 @ 6:20 pm

A panorama is a wide-angle view of a scene. It can be created by stitching together multiple photos into a single image.

Photoshop has a built-in feature that lets you do this automatically, but you can also create a panorama manually.

To create a panorama manually in Photoshop, you’ll need to start with two or more images of the same scene. The images should be taken from slightly different angles, so that they overlap when they’re placed next to each other.

Once you have your images, open them in Photoshop and select the one that you want to be the base image. This is the image that the others will be merged with.

Next, select the other images that you want to use in the panorama. Click and hold on one of the images, then use the Control (PC) or Command (Mac) key to select additional images.

With all of the images selected, go to File > Automate > Photomerge. In the Photomerge dialog box, make sure that the “Layout” option is set to “Auto” and that the “Blend Images Together” checkbox is selected.

Then click “OK”.

Photoshop will now automatically align and blend the images together to create a single panoramic image. You may need to crop the edges of the image to remove any areas that are blurry or have artifacts. Once you’re happy with the result, save your image and you’re done!

Creating a panorama in Photoshop is easy and can be done automatically or manually. With just a few clicks, you can stitch together multiple images into a single wide-angle view.
