How Do I Manually Log Hours on UpWork?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 12:06 pm

There are a few different ways that you can go about manually logging hours on UpWork. The first way is to simply use the time tracker that is built into the site. This is the easiest way to log your hours, and it will automatically generate invoices for you based on the hours that you have worked.

If you need to log hours for a client who is not using UpWork, or if you are working offline, you can use the “Log Time” feature to manually enter your hours. To do this, go to the “My Jobs” page and click on the job that you want to log time for. Then, click on the “Log Time” button and enter the relevant information.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about manually logging hours on Upwork, think again! This is not a good idea for a number of reasons. First, it is against Upwork’s Terms of Service. Second, it is very easy to make mistakes when manually logging hours, which could lead to you being overcharged or underpaid. Third, it is time-consuming and frustrating to have to keep track of your hours manually. Finally, if you ever need to dispute a charge with Upwork, they will likely not take your word for it if you have not been logging your hours through their system. So save yourself some trouble and log your hours on Upwork the right way – through the built-in time tracker!

You can also use the “Log Time” feature to add additional details to your time logs, such as notes or attachments. To do this, simply click on the “Add Details” button when logging your hours.

If you need to edit or delete a time log, you can do so by going to the “My Jobs” page and clicking on the job that you want to edit or delete. Then, click on the “Edit” or “Delete” button next to the relevant time log.
