How Do I Move an Image in Squarespace?

There are a few ways to move an image in Squarespace. You can use the drag-and-drop editor, or you can use the code editor.

To move an image using the drag-and-drop editor, simply click on the image and then drag it to the desired location. You can also use the alignment tools to center or align the image to the left or right of the page.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on moving an image in Squarespace, be warned that it may not always turn out the way you expect. In some cases, the image may become distorted or lose quality when moved.

To move an image using the code editor, first select the image by clicking on it. Then, click on the “Code” tab at the top of the page.

In the code editor, find the code for the image. The code will look something like this:

To move the image, simply cut and paste the code for the image into the desired location.

Moving an image in Squarespace is easy to do using either the drag-and-drop editor or the code editor. Simply select the image and then drag it to where you want it to go. You can also use alignment tools to center or align images on your pages.
