Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool used by designers to create high-quality designs and products. The software is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems. One of the benefits of Figma is that it can be used to open .fig files in Chrome without having to download or install any extra software.

To open a Figma file in Chrome, simply head to the Figma website and sign in with your account details. Once you’re logged in, click on the ‘Open File’ button in the top-right corner of the screen.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to open a Figma file in Chrome, it will not work. Figma files can only be opened in the Figma app.

This will bring up a dialogue box where you can select the .fig file you want to open. Click on the ‘Open’ button and the file will load in your browser.

If you’re not already signed up for a Figma account, you can do so by clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ button in the top-right corner of the screen. Once you’ve entered your details and created an account, you’ll be able to follow the same process to open .fig files in Chrome.

So there you have it! Now you know how to open Figma files in Chrome without having to download or install any extra software.
