There’s no one “right” way to organize your Figma file. It depends on your project and workflow.

That said, there are some best practices that can help you keep your file organized and tidy. Here are a few tips:

Different people have different preferences for how they want their Figma account organized. Therefore, before you start reorganizing your account, it is important to consider what system will work best for you. Additionally, keep in mind that it may take some time to get your account into the new organization system. Be patient and give yourself time to adjust to the new system.
    1. Create a folder for each project
    2. Within each project folder, create subfolders for different parts of the project (e.g. wireframes, visual designs, style guide)
    3. Within each subfolder, create individual files for each page or screen
    4. Use descriptive file and layer names
    5. Group related layers together
    6. Use comments and notes to explain your thinking
    7. Keep your file structure simple and easy to understand
