There are many ways to get started with Shopify. You can start by creating a store from scratch, or you can use one of Shopify’s many themes. You can also use Shopify’s online stores to sell products and services.
If you’re just getting started, it’s probably best to start with a theme. This way, you can get an idea of how Shopify works and how it can be used to create a successful online store. Once you’re familiar with the basics, you can start creating your own store from scratch.
If you’re selling products, you’ll need to add them to your Shopify store. To do this, click on the “Add a product” button from your dashboard. From here, you can add products manually or import them from a CSV file.
Once you’ve added your products, you’ll need to set up shipping and payment methods. Shipping is free for most products, but you may need to pay for shipping for some items.
When you’re ready to launch your store, we recommend that you sign up for a paid Shopify plan. This will give you access to all of Shopify’s features and allow you to start taking orders from customers. If you’re not ready to launch your store just yet, you can continue using Shopify on our free trial.
To set up shipping, click on the “Shipping” tab from your dashboard. From here, you can add shipping rates and methods.
To accept payments, you’ll need to set up a payment gateway. Shopify offers a number of different payment gateway options, including PayPal and Stripe.
To set up a payment gateway, click on the “Payments” tab from your dashboard. From here, you can select your preferred payment gateway and follow the instructions to set it up.
That’s it! You’re now ready to start selling on Shopify. Be sure to check out Shopify’s documentation for more information on how to use Shopify to sell online.
