How Do I Preview a Weebly Site Without Publishing?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 5:30 pm

If you’re working on a Weebly site and want to see how it looks without making it public, you can do so by previewing the site. Previewing allows you to see what the site will look like when it’s published, without actually publishing it.

To preview a Weebly site:

1. Log in to your Weebly account and go to the My Sites page. 2. Hover over the site you want to preview and click Edit Site. 3.

Click Preview at the top of the page. 4. Make any changes you want and click Save & Exit. 5. To exit preview mode, click the X in the top-right corner of the page.

PRO TIP: Weebly allows users to preview their websites before publishing, but there are some things to keep in mind when doing so. First, any changes made to the site while in preview mode will not be saved unless the user explicitly saves them. Second, preview mode does not simulate the exact experience of visiting the site after it is published; some features, such as forms and ecommerce, will not work in preview mode. Finally, preview mode is only available to logged-in users with editing permissions; visitors who are not logged in or do not have editing permissions will not be able to see the site in preview mode.

When you’re done making changes and want to publish your Weebly site, just click Publish at the top of the page.
