Have you ever wanted to add an image on top of the background in Photoshop? It’s actually quite easy to do! Here’s how:

1. Open up your image in Photoshop.

2. Select the “Rectangular Marquee Tool” from the toolbar on the left.

3. Drag your cursor around the area of the image that you want to keep as the background.

4. Press “Ctrl+J” (Windows) or “Cmd+J” (Mac) to create a new layer with just the selected area.

5. Select the “Move Tool” from the toolbar and click and drag the new layer over to the background image.

6. Adjust the position of the new layer until you’re happy with it.

7. Save your image!

And that’s all there is to it! Now you know how to add an image on top of a background in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can end up with a very messy image. It is easy to make the mistake of putting the image on top of the background in Photoshop, and then having to go back and adjust the levels or colors to try to get it to look right. This can be a very time consuming process, and it is best to avoid it if possible.
