How Do I Put Canva Design on a Shirt?

Designing a shirt with Canva is easy! Whether you’re making a custom gift for a friend or creating matching shirts for your next family reunion, Canva’s got you covered. Follow these simple steps to design a shirt withCanva.

1. Choose a template

First, select the “T-Shirt” design type from the list of available design types. You’ll be presented with a selection of templates to choose from.

For this tutorial, we’ll be using the “Vintage T-Shirt Design” template.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to put a Canva design on a shirt, there are a few things you need to be aware of. First, make sure that the design you choose is high resolution and will print well on a shirt. Secondly, be aware of the printing process – some methods (such as screen printing) require special care when applying the design to the shirt. Finally, make sure you have the proper supplies (such as transfer paper or heat transfer vinyl) and know how to use them before attempting to put your design on a shirt.

2. Add your images

Next, add your images.

You can upload your own images or choose from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock images, illustrations, and icons. Simply click the “Uploads” tab in the editor sidebar and select the images you want to add to your design.

Once your images are uploaded, you can drag and drop them into place or use the alignment tools to position them how you like. You can also change the size of your images by clicking and dragging on the corner of each image.

3. Change the colors

To change the color of an element in your design, simply click on it and select the color you want from the color palette. You can also add colors by clicking on the “+” button next to the color palette.
