If you need to put your Shopify store under maintenance, there are a few steps you’ll need to take. First, you’ll need to log into your Shopify account and go to the ‘Settings’ section.

From there, you’ll select ‘General’ and then scroll down to the ‘Maintenance Mode’ section. Once you’re in that section, you’ll need to select the ‘Enable Maintenance Mode’ option and then click ‘Save.’

PRO TIP: If you are considering putting your Shopify store under maintenance, there are a few things you should be aware of. First, any changes you make to your store during maintenance mode will not be visible to customers until you exit maintenance mode. Secondly, customers will not be able to purchase products from your store while it is in maintenance mode. Lastly, please be sure to test your store thoroughly before putting it into maintenance mode, as any errors that occur during maintenance mode will not be visible to you or your customers.

Now that your store is in maintenance mode, visitors will see a message letting them know that the store is down for maintenance. You can customize this message by clicking on the ‘Customize Maintenance Mode Page’ option.

This will allow you to add a title, message, and image to the page. Once you’re satisfied with your changes, be sure to click ‘Save.’

And that’s it! Your Shopify store is now in maintenance mode.
