It’s summertime, and that means vacation time! If you’re a WooCommerce store owner, you may be wondering how to put your store into “vacation mode” while you’re away.

Thankfully, there’s a handy tool built right into WooCommerce that lets you do just that. Here’s how it works:

First, log into your WooCommerce account and go to the Settings page. Next, click on the Advanced tab and then select the System Status option. On the System Status page, you’ll see a section called Maintenance Mode.

Click on the Enable Maintenance Mode button and then enter a message that will be displayed to visitors while your store is in vacation mode. For example, you might say something like “We’re currently closed for vacation and will reopen on August 1st.

Sorry for the inconvenience!” Once you’ve entered your message, click on the Save Changes button.

That’s it! Your WooCommerce store is now in vacation mode. When you’re ready to reopen your store, simply go back to the System Status page and click on the Disable Maintenance Mode button.
