How Do I Reduce Space Between Sections in Squarespace?

Last updated on December 23, 2022 @ 7:18 am

There are many ways to reduce the space between sections in Squarespace. One way is to add a CSS rule to your stylesheet. For example, if you want to reduce the space between sections by 50%, you would add the following CSS rule:

section {
margin: 0 !important;
padding: 0 !important;
}

PRO TIP: If you are using Squarespace to build a website, be aware that there is a known issue with reducing the space between sections. This can cause your site to appear broken and may result in loss of data.

You can also add this CSS rule to specific sections by Targeting them with a class or ID. Another way to reduce the space between sections is to use the Spacer Block.

The Spacer Block is a special type of content block that allows you to add space between other blocks. To use the Spacer Block, simply drag it into your layout and then adjust the height setting to add as much or as little space as you need.
