If you’re a photographer, chances are you’ve come across the problem of purple glare when photographing through glass. Whether it’s a window or a piece of glass, the purple tint can be quite difficult to remove. Thankfully, Photoshop has a few tools that can help you get rid of the purple glare.

First, open your image in Photoshop. Then, go to the ‘Filter’ menu and select ‘Camera Raw Filter’.

In the Camera Raw Filter dialog box, go to the ‘Effect’ tab and select ‘Purple Fringe’. This will help to remove the purple glare from your image.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, or do not have a strong understanding of how to use the software, do not attempt to remove purple glare from glasses in Photoshop. Doing so could result in damage to your image files.

Next, go to the ‘Image’ menu and select ‘Adjustments’. From here, select ‘Hue/Saturation’.

In the Hue/Saturation dialog box, drag the ‘Saturation’ slider to the left to desaturate the colors in your image. This will help to remove any remaining purple glare.

Finally, go to the ‘Filter’ menu and select ‘Lens Correction’. In the Lens Correction dialog box, go to the ‘Custom’ tab and select ‘Remove Chromatic Aberration’. This will help to remove any remaining chromatic aberration from your image.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove the purple glare from your image in Photoshop.
