How Do I Remove Related Products From Shopify?

If you are using Shopify to sell products online, you may have noticed that there is a section on your product pages called “Related Products.” This section shows other products that Shopify thinks may be of interest to your customers based on the product they are currently viewing.   1. Log in to your Shopify account and go to Online Store > Themes. From here, click on the Actions drop-down menu for the theme you are currently using and select Edit code.
  2. In the Edit code page, look for the layout folder and click on it.

    Then, look for the theme.liquid file and click on it.

  3. Once you’ve opened the theme.liquid, locate the line of code that says: {{ 'products/related.liquid' | asset_url }}. Delete this line of code.
  4. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
