Zoom Tool is one of the basic tools in Photoshop that allows you to change the magnification of your image. You can access the Zoom Tool from the toolbox or by using the keyboard shortcut Z. There are two ways to use the Zoom Tool:
1) To zoom in on an area: Select the Zoom Tool from the toolbox, then click on the area you want to zoom in on. The image will enlarge so that the area you clicked on fills up the document window.

2) To zoom out: Select the Zoom Tool from the toolbox, then click on the area you want to zoom out from. The image will shrink so that the area you clicked on is reduced in size. You can also click and drag to select an area to zoom out from.
To reset the Zoom Tool:
1) Select the Zoom Tool from the toolbox.
2) Right-click (Windows) / Control-click (Mac) on the image.
3) Choose Reset View from the contextual menu that appears.
