One of the most common questions we see from Squarespace users is “How do I resize a spacer in Squarespace?” This is a valid question, asSquarespace does not make it easy to control the size of spacers by default.

However, there is a workaround that can be used to resize spacers on your Squarespace website.

Here’s how you do it:

First, create a new spacer block by going to the Content tab and clicking on the + symbol. Then, select the Spacer option from the list of content blocks that appears.

Once you’ve added a spacer block, you’ll notice that there’s a default height applied to it. To change this, click on the spacer block and then click on the Change Height option that appears in the toolbar at the top of the page.

You can then enter a new height for your spacer block in the field that appears. Once you’ve done this, click on the Apply button and you’ll see that your spacer block has been resized.

And that’s all there is to it! By following these steps, you can easily resize spacers on your Squarespace website..

The above steps show how easy it is to resize spacers on your Squarespace website using a workaround. Simply create a new spacer block, click on the Change Height option in the toolbar, and enter a new height for your spacer block. Once you’ve done this, click on the Apply button and you’ll see that your spacer block has been resized.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when resizing a spacer in Squarespace, you could end up breaking your site’s layout. Make sure to test your changes in a staging environment before making them live.
