How do I run Joomla after installation?

After installing Joomla, you need to register it with the web server. To do this, open the web browser and enter the IP or hostname of the web server. The Joomla registration form should appear.

Complete the form and click the Submit button. Joomla should now be registered with the web server.

To run Joomla, you need to create a new database and set up a user account for it. To do this, open the MySQL database management software and connect to the database server. In the navigation menu, click Databases, and then click the name of the database on which Joomla is installed. In the opened window, click the + button to create a new database.

PRO TIP: If you have just installed Joomla, it is not yet operational. You must complete the installation process by running the installation wizard. Once the installation is complete, you can access your new Joomla site by going to the URL where you installed it.

In the Enter database name field, enter the name of the database in which Joomla will be installed. In the Enter database user name field, enter the user name for the database. In the Enter password field, enter the password for the database user. Click the OK button to create the database.

To set up a user account for Joomla, open the web browser and enter the IP or hostname of the web server. The login screen for Joomla should appear.

Type the user name and password for the user account in the login form and click the login button. Joomla should now be accessible by the user account you created.
