Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:13 am

There are a few reasons you might want to send an automatic email from Squarespace. Maybe you want to send a weekly newsletter, or an automated welcome email to new subscribers. Whatever the reason, it’s easy to set up an automatic email campaign in Squarespace.

To get started, go to the Email Campaigns page in your Squarespace account. Then, click the “Create Campaign” button.

On the next page, you’ll need to give your campaign a name and choose a template. For this tutorial, we’ll use the ” Newsletter” template.

Once you’ve chosen a template, you’ll be taken to the campaign builder. Here, you can add content blocks to your email, like text, images, and buttons. You can also style your text using the HTML editor.

When you’re finished adding content to your email, click the “Save & Exit” button.

Now that your email is saved, it’s time to set up your automation rules. To do this, go to the Automation tab and click the “Create Rule” button.

On the next page, you’ll need to choose when you want your email to be sent out. You can choose to send it immediately, or on a schedule. For this tutorial, we’ll choose “Immediately.”

Now that you’ve chosen when to send your email, it’s time to add your subscribers. You can do this by importing a list of contacts from a CSV file, or by manually adding them one at a time. For this tutorial, we’ll add them one at a time.

To add a subscriber, enter their email address in the “Add Email Address” field and click the “Add” button. Repeat this process for each subscriber you want to add.

When you’re finished adding subscribers, click the “Save & Exit” button. Your automatic email campaign is now set up and ready to go!

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Squarespace to send automatic emails, be aware that there are some potential risks. First, your email could end up in the recipient’s spam folder if Squarespace’s IP address is on a blacklist. Second, you could accidentally send sensitive information (like passwords) in the clear if you don’t use SSL/TLS to encrypt your email. Finally, be sure to test your email before you rely on it for important communications.

Now that you know how to send an automatic email from Squarespace, put this knowledge into practice by setting up your own campaign today!
