Google Cloud Platform (GCP) offers a range of email services that can be used to send and receive email. In this article, we’ll cover the basics of how to send and receive email using GCP, including setting up an account, creating an email address, and sending and receiving email.

To send email from GCP, you first need to create an account. Once you have an account, you can create an email address and set up your GCP account to use that address for email.

You can also use your GCP account to access your email messages in the Gmail web interface or through the Google Cloud Platform Console.

To send email using Gmail, open the Gmail web interface, click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then click Accounts. In the Accounts overview, under your email address, click the Send Mail button. In the Send Mail dialog, under the Email address field, type the email address you want to use. If you want to send email using an alternate email address, type the address in the Alternate email address field.

If you want to send email using multiple addresses, separate the addresses with commas. Click the Email address field and then type your GCP account password. If you don’t have a GCP account, type gmail.com in the Email address field and then click the Create button.

PRO TIP: Sending emails from Google Cloud can be done using the Gmail API. However, before using this API, you must first enable billing for your project. Once billing is enabled, you can then use the Gmail API to send emails.

To send email using the Google Cloud Platform Console, open the Google Cloud Platform Console, click the Compute tab, and then click Email. In the Email overview, under your email address, click the Send Mail button. If you don’t have a GCP account, type gcloud.

To send email using SMTP, open the Gmail web interface, click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then click Settings. In the Settings overview, under the Accounts & Import section, click Import. In the Import Email dialog, select SMTP as the protocol. If you’re using Gmail with a work or school account, enter your work or school account’s SMTP server address. If you’re using Gmail with a personal account, enter your Gmail address. If you’re using Gmail with a Google Apps for Work account, enter the G Suite domain name.

If you’re using Gmail with a personal account and you have a Google Apps for Work account, enter the G Suite username. If you’re using Gmail with a personal account and you don’t have a Google Apps for Work account, enter your personal Gmail address. In the From field, type your GCP account’s email address. In the To field, type the email address you want to send the message to. Click the Send button.

To send email using an SMTP server other than Gmail, open the Gmail web interface, click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then click Settings. In the Server field, type the SMTP server address. In the Port field, type the port number. In the User name field, type the user name for the SMTP server.

In the Password field, type the password for the SMTP server. In the From field, type the email address you want to send the message to. In the To field, type the email address you want to receive the message from.

After you’ve set up your GCP account, you can send and receive email using the GCP email services.
