How do I set up a website on DigitalOcean?

DigitalOcean is a cloud-based platform that makes it easy to create and manage websites. You can use the DigitalOcean platform to create a new website, or you can use DigitalOcean to manage an existing website.

To create a new website on DigitalOcean, follow these steps:

1. Create an account on the DigitalOcean platform.

2. Log in to your account.

3. Click the Create A New Site button.

4. Enter a name for your website, and select a location on the DigitalOcean platform.

5. Click the Create Site button.

6. Enter your website’s domain name in the Domain field, and click the Go button.

7. Click the Preview Site button to view your website’s contents.

8. Click the Publish Site button to create your website’s website address and publish your website.

To manage an existing website on the DigitalOcean platform, follow these steps:

1. Click the Sites button.

2. Click the website you want to manage.

3. Click the Actions button.

4. Click the Update Site button to update your website’s contents.

5. Click the Delete Site button to delete your website.

6. Click the Actions button again. Click the Manage Deployments button.

7. Click the Deployment button for the website you want to manage.

8. Click the Settings button.

9. Change the website’s name and description, and click the Save Changes button.

10. Click the Stop Deployment button to stop the deployment of the website.

11. Click the Update Website button to update your website’s contents.

12. Click the Delete Website button to delete your website.

13. Click the Manage Users button.

14. Add users to your website, or delete users from your website.

15. Change the website’s password, and click the Save Changes button.

16. Click the Stop Website button to stop the website.

17. Change the website’s name, description, and public URL, and click the Save Changes button.

18. Change the website’s domain name, and click the Save Changes button.

19. Change the website’s IP address, and click the Save Changes button.

20. Change the website’s port, and click the Save Changes button.

21. Change the website’s access level, and click the Save Changes button.

22 Change the website’s security group, and click the Save Changes button.

23. Change the website’s virtual hosts, and click the Save Changes button.

24. Click the Deployment button for the website you want to.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with web development or server administration, you should not attempt to set up a website on DigitalOcean. You could potentially damage your droplet or website, and you may not be able to recover your data.
