Ecommerce tracking in Google Analytics is a great way to keep track of your online sales and understand customer behavior. To set it up, follow these steps:

1. In Google Analytics, go to the Property tab, and click on the Ecommerce Tracking link.

2. On the Ecommerce Tracking settings page, you’ll need to provide your Shopify store’s unique URL.

You can find this by going to your Shopify admin panel and clicking on Settings > Sales > Shopify URL.

PRO TIP: If you are using Shopify to sell products online, you can use Google Analytics to track your ecommerce data. However, setting up ecommerce tracking in Google Analytics can be complex. Before you start, we recommend that you read the Shopify documentation on setting up ecommerce tracking in Google Analytics.

3. You’ll also need to provide your Google Analytics account’s API token.

You can find this on the API Access overview page in your Google Analytics account.

4. Finally, you’ll need to configure your goals.

You can set up goals to track things like total sales, unique visitors, or conversion rates.

5. When you’re finished setting up your tracking, click the Save Changes button to save your changes.
