Setting up a Linode Minecraft server is simple. First, create a new Linode account and complete the sign-up process.

Once you have an account, add the Linode Minecraft server to your account.

To set up your Linode Minecraft server, first create a new Linode account.

Next, add the Linode Minecraft server to your account. To do this, open the Linode Manager and click on the Add Server link in the left-hand column.

Enter the server’s IP address or hostname into the Server Address field and click the Next button.

Enter the server’s port number in the Port Number field and click the Next button.

Enter your server’s domain name in the Server Domain Name field and click the Next button.

Click the Create Server button to create your server.

Now you’re ready to start your Linode Minecraft server! To start your server, open a terminal window and enter the following command:

Linode server minecraft

If everything goes smoothly, you should see a message indicating that your server is up and running. Congratulations!

PRO TIP: When setting up a Linode Minecraft server, be sure to use a strong password for the root user. Additionally, make sure to update your Linode’s kernel and distribution to the latest versions.

Now that your Linode Minecraft server is up and running, you’ll need to configure it to your liking. To do this, open a terminal window and enter the following command:

sudo nano /etc/Linode/minecraft.conf

This will open the Minecraft server configuration file. Add the following lines to the file to enable world saving and remote management:

world_save = false

world_load = false

server_hostname = yourserver.com

server_port = 27015

server_username = yourusername

server_password = yourpassword

Now you’re ready to connect to your server remotely. To do this, open a terminal window and enter the following command:

ssh yourserver.com

Your server should now be up and running. If everything goes smoothly, you can now start playing on your server!.
