How Do I Show My WooCommerce Notice?

Last updated on January 12, 2023 @ 11:48 am

WooCommerce is a powerful eCommerce plugin that helps you sell anything online. A WooCommerce notice is a message that appears on your WooCommerce store, typically at the top of the page, to inform your customers about something important. For example, you might want to display a notice to let your customers know about a sale or a new product.

There are two ways to add a WooCommerce notice to your store:

1. Use the WooCommerce > Settings > Notices page

On the Notices page, you can add, edit, and delete notices. To add a new notice, click the Add Notice button. This will open the Add Notice modal, where you can enter your notice content and configure its settings.

2. Use the WordPress editor

You can also add WooCommerce notices using the WordPress editor. Simply create a new post or page, and then add the [woocommerce_notice] shortcode to the content area. This will display a notice on your post or page.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, showing your WooCommerce notice can result in lost sales and customers. Make sure that you only show your notice to those who are interested in what you have to say, and be sure to hide it from those who are not.

Configuring Your Notice Settings

Once you’ve added your WooCommerce notice, you can configure its settings to control where and how it’s displayed on your store. To do this, click the Configure button in the Add Notice modal or in the Notices page.

Notice Content

The first setting you can configure is the Notice Content. This is the message that will be displayed in your WooCommerce notice. You can enter plain text or use HTML to format your content.

Display Options

The next setting you can configure is the Display Options. This controls where your notice will be displayed on your store.
