Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 7:02 pm

Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphic design software that helps users create detailed graphics, logos, and illustrations. It is widely used in the design industry, and is available for both personal and commercial use.

To get started with Illustrator, you first need to install the software on your computer. After installation is complete, you can launch the program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.

To create a new file, you can choose File > New or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + N. To open an existing file, click on its icon on your desktop and select Open.

PRO TIP: Adobe Illustrator is a powerful vector graphic design tool, but it can be daunting to try and learn on your own. There are a lot of resources out there to help you get started, but be careful which ones you use. Some of the tutorials and guides out there are outdated or just plain wrong. Do your research before starting to use Adobe Illustrator, and you’ll be on your way to becoming a pro in no time!

Once you have created a new file, you can begin to design your project by opening the Tools panel and selecting the appropriate tools. The most common tools you will use are the Pencil tool, the Brush tool, and the Eraser tool.

To change the size, color, or format of a selected object, you can use the toolbar at the top of the window or the properties panel. To add text or other objects to your file, you can use the toolbar at the bottom of the window or the artboard.

Once you have completed your project, you can save it by selecting File > Save or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + S. To preview your project in a different browser or on a different device, you can select File > Export and choose a format from the list.
