How Do I Stop Recurring Payments on Shopify?

If you’re using Shopify to sell products or services, you may have the option to set up recurring payments. This can be a great way to automate your billing and make sure that you’re always getting paid on time.

However, there may come a time when you need to stop those recurring payments. Maybe you’re changing your pricing structure, or maybe you’re no longer offering the same product or service. Whatever the reason, stopping recurring payments is easy to do in Shopify.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Shopify account and click on “Orders.” 2. Find the order that contains the recurring payment that you want to cancel and click “Cancel.”

3. A pop-up window will appear asking if you’re sure that you want to cancel the order. Click “OK.”
4. That’s it! The recurring payment will be stopped and the customer will no longer be charged.

Stopping recurring payments in Shopify is a quick and easy process that can be completed in just a few steps. Once you cancel an order, the customer will no longer be charged and the recurring payment will be stopped.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about cancelling your Shopify subscription, please be aware that you will need to cancel any recurring payments first. To do this, you will need to login to your Shopify account, go to the ‘Billing’ page, and then cancel any active subscriptions. Please note that this process must be completed before your subscription expires, otherwise you will continue to be charged.
