How do I style comments in WordPress?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 12:24 am

Comments are a great way to add interactivity and discussion to your WordPress blog posts. However, it can be hard to keep track of all the different comments and how to style them.

This guide will show you how to style comments in WordPress.

To start, you need to create a comment box. To do this, go to the post you want to comment on, and click on the “Comments” link in the bottom left corner.

You will then be taken to the comments page.

To add a new comment, click on the “+ New Comment” button in the bottom right corner. You will then be taken to the comment form.

The first thing you need to do is enter your comment. You can either type your comment in the text field or use the provided HTML tags.

Next, you need to decide how you want to style your comment. You have two options: you can either leave the comment as-is, or you can style it using the provided WordPress tags.

To style the comment using the tags, you will need to select the “Comment” category in the left-hand sidebar. Then, you will need to select the tag you want to use.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that styling comments in WordPress can be a tricky process. There are a few things you need to keep in mind, such as making sure your comments are visible to readers, and ensuring that they are properly formatted.

The following example shows how to style a comment using the “Text” tag. You can see that I have added a style ID and a class to the comment.

To style the comment using the “HTML” tag, you will need to select the “Comment” category in the left-hand sidebar. Then, you will need to select the “HTML” tag.

The following example shows how to style a comment using the “HTML” tag.

Finally, you need to add the class to the comment. To do this, you will need to click on the “Class” button in the bottom right corner.

You will then be taken to the class list.

You will then need to select the class you want to use. The following example shows how to use the “Comment” class.

You can now save your comment, and you will see the comment appear in the comment box below the post.

Congratulations, you have now style comments in WordPress!.
