How do I turn off related products in WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is a popular eCommerce platform that allows users to create and manage their own online stores. One of the features of WooCommerce is the ability to create related products.

Related products are products that are related to one another, such as a product that is a part of a set. When a user creates a related product, WooCommerce automatically creates a corresponding product category and adds the related product to the store’s inventory.

Related products can be a helpful tool for store owners. They can help to organize the store’s inventory and make it easier for customers to find the products they are looking for.

However, related products can also be a source of confusion for customers. If a store owner wants to disable related products, they need to do two things: first, they need to disable the related product feature in WooCommerce; and second, they need to create a custom page template that excludes related products from the page’s content.

Disabling the related product feature in WooCommerce is easy. To do this, the store owner need to go to the WooCommerce settings page and click on the “Products” tab.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure about how to turn off related products in WooCommerce, it is best to consult with a WooCommerce expert before making any changes. Making the wrong change could result in your related products no longer being displayed on your website.

Then, they need to click on the “Related Products” button and uncheck the box next to the related product category.

Creating a custom page template that excludes related products from the page’s content is a little more difficult. The store owner first need to create a custom page template.

Then, they need to add a section to the template that excludes related products from the page’s content. This section will need to look something like the following:.

[ exclude_products category=”Related Products” ]

The store owner can then use this template to create any pages that they want to exclude related products from. This template can be used on any page that contains product information.
