How Do I Upload a Background in Canva Zoom?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 6:49 pm

It’s easy to add a background to your Canva Zoom meeting. Simply head to the “Settings” tab and select “Virtual Background.” From there, you can upload your own image or choose from a selection of built-in backgrounds.

If you’re using a PC, you’ll need to have the Canva Zoom extension installed. Once you have the extension installed, open Canva and head to the “Create a design” button. Select “Zoom Background” from the list of design types.

PRO TIP: If you are considering adding a background to your Canva Zoom account, be aware that this is currently a beta feature and may not work as expected. Additionally, be sure to save your work frequently as the background feature may cause unexpected changes or crashes in the program.

Once you’re in the Zoom background editor, you can upload your own image or choose from a selection of built-in backgrounds. To upload your own image, click the “Upload Image” button and select the image you want to use. Once it’s uploaded, you can position it however you like.

To choose from a selection of built-in backgrounds, click the “Backgrounds” tab and scroll through the options. When you find one you like, click on it to select it.

Once you’ve selected your background, click the “Apply” button and then head to your next Zoom meeting!
