When it comes to data storage, nothing beats a SQL database. Azure provides you with a number of different options for connecting to a SQL database, but the most popular option is using the Azure SQL Database Service.

To get started, first create an instance of the Azure SQL Database Service. You can use either the Azure Management Portal or the Azure CLI.

PRO TIP: Before using a SQL database in Azure, it is important to understand the basics of how databases work and the different types of databases available. Additionally, you should have a plan for how you will use the database and what kind of data you will store in it. Without this understanding, it is possible to incur significant charges on your Azure account.

Once you have created the service, you can connect to it using the Azure SQL Database Connector for your chosen language.

Once you have connected to the service, you can start working with your database. You can create tables and columns, and then insert data using the standard SQL commands.

You can also use the Azure SQL Database Administrators portal to manage your database.
