Canva is a free online design platform that allows users to create designs for social media, presentations, posters, and more. One of my favorite features of Canva is the ability to use photos from their library in your designs. In this article, I’m going to show you how to use Canva photos in your HTML designs.
The first thing you need to do is sign up for a free Canva account. Once you’re signed in, click on the “Create a Design” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
This will take you to the design editor. In the editor, you’ll see a variety of templates that you can use to create your design. For this example, we’ll be using the “Blog Header” template.
Click on the template and then click on the “Use this template” button. This will take you to the editor for that particular template. On the left-hand side of the editor, you’ll see a menu with a variety of options. One of those options is “Photos.”
Click on that and then select “Uploads.” This is where you can upload your own photos to use in your design. For this example, we’ll be using a photo from Unsplash.
Once you’ve found a photo that you want to use, click on the “Upload” button in the top-right corner of the screen. This will add the photo to your library of photos within Canva. Now that the photo is in your library, go ahead and select it and then click on the “Insert” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
This will add the photo to your design. You can now move it around and resize it as needed.
When you’re happy with how everything looks, click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen and select “HTML.” This will download your design as an HTML file that you can then upload to your website or blog.
