How Do I Use Cloudflare With WooCommerce?

Cloudflare is a free CDN and SSL provider that can speed up your WooCommerce site and make it more secure. It’s easy to set up Cloudflare with WooCommerce, and in this article, we’ll show you how.

First, you’ll need to sign up for a Cloudflare account and add your website. Once your website is added, you’ll need to choose the Free plan or a paid plan. We recommend the Free plan for most users.

Once you’ve chosen a plan, you’ll need to add your domain name. Cloudflare will then provide you with DNS records to add to your domain name. These DNS records will route your traffic through Cloudflare’s network.

PRO TIP: If you are using Cloudflare with WooCommerce, be aware that there is a known issue with the Cloudflare plugin and WooCommerce that can cause errors on your site. It is recommended that you disable the Cloudflare plugin when using WooCommerce.

Once you’ve added the DNS records to your domain name, you’ll need to set up SSL. Cloudflare offers free SSL certificates, which are automatically issued and renewed.

You can choose to use Full or Flexible SSL, which will encrypt traffic between Cloudflare and your visitors’ browsers. Full SSL will also encrypt traffic between Cloudflare and your WooCommerce site.

Once SSL is set up, you can enable caching in Cloudflare. This will speed up your WooCommerce site by caching static files like images and CSS files on Cloudflare’s servers. You can also choose to cache dynamic files, but this is not recommended for WooCommerce sites.

That’s it! You’ve now successfully set up Cloudflare with WooCommerce.

Your site will now be faster and more secure. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team.
