Custom Attributes are a powerful way to add extra information to elements in your designs, and they’re easy to use in Elementor.

To add a custom attribute to an element in your design, first open the element in which you want to add the attribute, and then click the “Attributes” tab. In the “Attributes” tab, under the “Attributes” section, click the “Add Custom Attribute” button.

In the “Add Custom Attribute” dialog box, you will need to provide a name for your new attribute, and a description of what the attribute will do. You can also provide a default value for the attribute, if you want.

PRO TIP: Custom attributes can be used to add extra data to an element, which can then be used in conditions or custom CSS. However, if you are not careful when adding custom attributes, you could inadvertently introduce security vulnerabilities or break the functionality of your site.

After you have provided the necessary information, click the “OK” button to add the new attribute to the element.

Now, whenever you want to use the custom attribute in your design, you will need to include it in the element’s content. For example, if you want to use the custom attribute to store the name of the file that is being edited, you would include the attribute’s name in the content of the element’s tag.

Finally, you can use the custom attribute in your designs just like any other attribute. For example, you can use it to store data that is specific to your design, or to control the appearance of an element.

So, how do you use custom attributes in Elementor? Well, as long as you have a name for the attribute and a description of what it will do, you can add it to any element in your designs and use it to store data or control the appearance of that element.
