How Do I Use Libraries in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 11:13 am

Figma is a vector-based design tool that is gaining popularity in the design community. One of the reasons for its popularity is its ease of use.

Figma has a lot of features that make it easy to use, including libraries. Libraries in Figma are collections of elements that you can use in your designs.

To use a library in Figma, first, you need to find a library that you want to use. There are many libraries available, both free and paid.

PRO TIP: When using libraries in Figma, be sure to keep track of which objects you use and where they came from. If you delete or move an object from a library, it will no longer be linked to that library and you will need to update your design accordingly.

Once you find a library that you want to use, you need to add it to your Figma account. To do this, click on the ‘Add to Figma’ button on the library page.

Once you have added the library to your account, you can access it by clicking on the ‘Libraries’ tab in the left sidebar. From here, you can browse the elements in the library and drag and drop them into your design.

Libraries are a great way to save time when designing in Figma. With libraries, you can quickly add elements to your design without having to create them from scratch. If you’re not sure how to use libraries in Figma, we’ve put together a short guide to help you get started.
