How do I use my WordPress domain with HostGator?

Now that you have your WordPress site hosted with HostGator, it’s time to set up your domain name. To do this, you need to create a hosting account with HostGator, and then follow these steps:

1. Log in to your HostGator account.

2. Click the “Account” tab.

3. Click the “ domains” link in the left sidebar.

4. Click the “Create new domain” button.

5. Enter your desired domain name in the “domain name” field.

6. Click the “Create domain” button.

7. You will now be taken to the “Domain settings” page.

8. In the “Hosting account” field, enter the email address that you used to create your HostGator account.

9. In the “Primary domain name” field, enter the domain name that you want to use for your WordPress site.

10. Click the “Save changes” button.

11. You will now be taken to the “Domains” page.

12. In the “Name servers” field, enter the IP addresses of the name servers that you want to use for your domain.

13. In the “Main name” field, enter the main domain name for your website.

14. You will now be taken to the “WordPress” page.

15. In the “Host” field, enter the email address that you used to create your WordPress site.

16. In the “Port” field, enter the port that you used to create your WordPress site.

17. Click the “Create site” button.

18. You will now be taken to the “Configure WordPress” page.

19. In the “Site name” field, enter the name that you want to give to your WordPress site.

20. In the “Password” field, enter the password that you want to use to log in to your WordPress site.

21. In the “Site title” field, enter the title that you want to give to your WordPress site.

22. In the “Author” field, enter the name of the person who created the WordPress site.

23. In the “Description” field, enter a brief description of the site.

24. In the “Name” field, enter the name that you want to give to your WordPress site.

25. In the “Email address” field, enter the email address that you want to use to log in to your WordPress site.

26. In the “Confirm email address” field, enter the email address that you want to use to confirm your WordPress site.

27. You will now be taken to the “Pages” page.

28. In the “Name” field, enter the name that you want to give to the page that you are creating.

29. In the “Description” field, enter a brief description of the page.

30. In the “Page content” field, enter the text that you want to appear on the page.

31. In the “Page title” field, enter the title that you want to give to the page.

32. In the “Publish” field, click the “Publish” button.

33. In the “Sitemap” field, enter the URL for the sitemap that you want to use for your WordPress site.

34. In the “Page stats” field, enter the URL for the page stats that you want to use for your WordPress site.
