In Photoshop, the brush tool is used to paint on images. Painting with the brush tool is simple: you use the mouse to drag the paintbrush around the image.

You can also use the keyboard to control the brush size and shape.

To paint with the brush tool, first select the brush tool. To change the brush size, use the mouse wheel or the keyboard.

PRO TIP: The brush tool in Photoshop can be used to create a variety of different effects. However, it is important to use the tool properly in order to avoid creating unwanted results. When using the brush tool, be sure to set the mode to ‘Normal’ and the opacity to 100%. Also, be sure to select a brush that is appropriate for the desired effect.

To change the brush shape, use the keyboard buttons (W, A, S, D, and E). To paint with the center of the brush, hold down the Shift key while painting.

To paint with the edge of the brush, hold down the Alt key while painting. To erase the paintbrush, use the mouse to drag it over the image.

To invert the color of the brush, use the keyboard buttons (I, O).

To save your painting, use the File menu and select Save. To share your painting, use the File menu and select Share.
