How Do I Use the Ruler in Photoshop?

Rulers are a great way to keep track of measurements in Photoshop. To use a ruler, simply click and drag it from the left or right side of the screen. You can also click on the “Ruler” tool in the toolbar.

When you hover your mouse over the ruler, you’ll see a small “x” appear. This is the starting point for your measurement.

To measure an object, click and drag the “x” to the end of the object. The measurement will appear in pixels.

You can also use rulers to create straight lines. To do this, click on the “Ruler” tool and then click and drag from one point to another.

A straight line will appear between the two points. You can also hold down the “Shift” key while clicking and dragging to create a perfectly straight line.
