How Do I View a Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:15 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration.

It’s a browser-based tool, which means it can be used on any operating system. All you need is an internet connection. And because it’s vector-based, it can be used for both web and app design.

So how do you view a Figma?

The first thing you need to do is create a free Figma account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be taken to your dashboard. Here, you can create a new file or open an existing one.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to view a Figma, it is important to first check if the file is set to Public or Private. If the file is set to Private, you will need to be logged in with the account that has permission to view the file. If you are logged in and still cannot view the file, it may be because the owner of the file has not given you permission to view it.

When you open a file, you’ll be taken to the editor. The editor is where you’ll do all your design work.

On the left side of the screen, you’ll see the toolbar. This is where you can access all of Figma’s features.

To view a file, simply click on it. The file will open in a new tab. You can then zoom in and out using the zoom controls at the bottom of the screen.
