How Do You Add References to Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:04 am

There are a few different ways that you can add references to Wix. You can either use the built-in reference tool, or you can manually add them in.

If you want to use the built-in reference tool, you first need to open up the Wix Editor. Then, click on the Add button and select the References option from the drop-down menu.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

In the Add References window, you can either search for a specific reference or browse through the available options. Once you’ve found the reference you want to add, simply click on the Insert button.

If you want to add a reference manually, you can do so by going into the HTML code of your site. To do this, click on the Edit HTML button in the Wix Editor.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to add references to your Wix website, be aware that there are some risks involved. Wix is a popular website builder and hosting platform, but it is not without its problems. One of the biggest issues is that Wix does not allow for custom code, which means that you will not be able to add your own references or trackbacks. This could lead to problems down the line, so be sure to weigh the pros and cons before making a decision.

Once you’re in the HTML code, simply scroll down to where you want to add your reference and insert the following code:

Your Reference Here

Be sure to replace “http://www.com” with the actual URL of your reference, and “Your Reference Here” with the text you want to display for your reference.

That’s all there is to adding references to Wix! Whether you use the built-in tool or add them manually, it’s a quick and easy process.
