How Do You Blend Layers in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:24 am

There are a few different ways that you can blend layers in Photoshop. One way is to use the “Layer” menu at the top of the screen and selecting “New Adjustment Layer.” Then, choose the type of adjustment layer you want to use.

Another way to blend layers is to use the “Layer” menu and selecting “Layer Mask.” This will create a mask that you can use to blend the two layers together.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, “blending” two images together can create some unexpected results. Be sure to save your work often and keep backups of your original images in case you need to start over.

You can also use the “Blend If” option in the “Layer Style” dialog box. This allows you to control how the two layers will blend together.

Finally, you can use the “Edit” menu and selecting “Transform.” This will allow you to move, rotate, or scale the layer so that it blends better with the other layer.
