There are a few different ways that you can blur out part of a picture in Photoshop. One way is to use the Blur tool. Select the Blur tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

Then, click and drag over the area that you want to blur. The further you drag, the more blurred the area will become. You can also adjust the strength of the blur by changing the settings in the options bar at the top of the screen.

Another way to blur part of a picture is to use a layer mask. First, create a new layer.

PRO TIP: If you are using Photoshop to blur out part of a picture, be aware that this may result in the loss of some image quality. Additionally, it is important to make sure that the area you are blurring is not too large, as this can also cause problems.

Then, using a black brush, paint over the area that you want to blur. Next, change the mode of the layer to “Screen” and lower the opacity until you’re happy with the amount of blur.

You can also use the Gaussian Blur filter to blur part of a picture. Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and enter a radius in the dialog box that appears. The larger the radius, the more blurred the image will be.

No matter which method you choose, blurring part of a picture can help to create a sense of depth or make an area less noticeable. So next time you’re editing a photo in Photoshop, experiment with different ways of blurring to see what effect you can achieve.
