How Do You Doodle on Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 2:38 pm

Doodling on Canva is a fun and easy way to add some personality to your designs. You can use the doodle tool to draw directly on your design, or you can upload your own images to use as doodles. To get started, simply select the doodle tool from the left toolbar and start drawing. You can change the color of your doodle by clicking on the color palette in the top toolbar.

To add an image as a doodle, click on the “Uploads” tab in the left toolbar and upload your image. Once it’s uploaded, you can click and drag it onto your design.

PRO TIP: Canva is a great way to make beautiful designs, but there are some things you should know before you start doodling on it! Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Make sure you have the right tools. Canva is a vector drawing program, so you’ll need a vector-based drawing tool like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape to create your doodles. If you try to use a raster-based tool like Photoshop, your doodles will come out pixelated and won’t look as smooth.

2. Take advantage of Canva’s grid system. When you’re doodling on Canva, you can use the gridlines to help keep your drawings symmetrical and in proportion. This can be a great way to achieve clean, professional-looking results.

3. Don’t be afraid to experiment. Canva’s interface is very user-friendly, so it’s easy to try out new things and see what works best for your project. So go ahead and experiment – you might be surprised at what you can create!

To style your text using HTML tags, simply select the text you want to style and then click on the “B” button for bold, the “U” button for underline, or the “

” button for paragraph. For more advanced styling, you can also add CSS code directly to your design.

That’s all there is to doodling on Canva! With a little practice, you’ll be adding personality to your designs in no time.
