How Do You Draw a Box Outline in Photoshop?

There are a few different ways that you can draw a box outline in Photoshop. One way is to use the Rectangle Tool.

With the Rectangle Tool selected, click and drag to draw your rectangle. To draw a perfect square, hold down the Shift key while you click and drag. To constrain the rectangle to a specific aspect ratio, hold down the Option (Mac) / Alt (PC) key while you click and drag.

Another way to draw a box outline is by using the Pen Tool. With the Pen Tool selected, click once to create a point. Click and drag to create your first curve, and then release the mouse button.

Move your cursor to where you want to create your second curve, and then click and drag again. Continue this process until you’ve created a complete box outline. To close off your shape, click on the first point that you created.

You can also use the Custom Shape Tool to draw a box outline. With the Custom Shape Tool selected, choose “Square” from the drop-down menu of shapes. Then click and drag to draw your square.

Once you’ve drawn your box outline, you can add some finishing touches by applying a stroke or fill color. To add a stroke, go to Layer > Layer Style > Stroke. To add a fill color, go to Layer > Layer Style > Color Overlay.
