To edit typography in Photoshop, first open your image file. Then, select the “Type” tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

With the Type tool selected, click on the area of the image where you want to add text. A text box will appear, and you can begin typing your text.

PRO TIP: This article provides an overview of how to edit typography in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that Photoshop is a complex program and this article only covers the basics. If you are not familiar with Photoshop, or if you are not comfortable with using complex software, we recommend that you seek help from a professional graphic designer.

To format your text, use the options in the “Character” panel above your image. Here, you can change the font, size, color, and other attributes of your text. To add a drop shadow or other special effect to your text, use the “Layer Styles” option in the “Layers” panel.

When you’re finished editing your text, click the “Commit” button in the “Type” toolbar. This will save your changes and close the text box. You can also click the “Cancel” button to close the text box without saving your changes.
