There are a few ways to add video to your Figma design. The first is to use a video file that’s already on your computer.

To do this, click the “Upload” button in the lower left corner of the interface and select your video file. The second way is to add video from YouTube or Vimeo by clicking the “Embed” button and copying/pasting the video URL.

Once your video is added to Figma, you can resize it and move it around just like any other image file. You can also add custom controls by clicking the “Customize controls” button in the bottom right corner of the interface. This will allow you to add play/pause buttons, change the playback speed, and more.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that there are risks associated with embedding a video into Figma. These risks include, but are not limited to, potential data loss, corruption of the file, and decreased performance. We recommend that you backup your data prior to embedding a video into Figma.

Adding video to your designs can be a great way to add interactivity and bring your designs to life. With a few clicks, you can easily add videos from your computer or from YouTube and Vimeo.
