Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 4:49 pm

There are many ways to insert a picture into Canva, but the most common way is to click on the “Uploads” tab in the left-hand sidebar and then click the “Upload Media” button in the center of the screen. This will bring up your computer’s file explorer, allowing you to navigate to the image you wish to insert. Once you’ve selected the image, click the “Open” button and it will be added to your Canva workspace.

Now that you’ve added your image, you can move it around and resize it as needed. To move the image, simply click on it and drag it to the desired location. To resize it, click on one of the corner handles and drag it in or out.

If you want to add text to your image, Canva makes it easy to do so. Simply click on the “Text” tab in the left-hand sidebar and then select the type of text box you want to add.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Canva, we strongly recommend that you take the time to learn about the platform before attempting to insert a picture. There are a number of ways to do this, and if you are not familiar with the platform, you may end up causing irreparable damage to your design.

Enter your text and then use the formatting options at the top of the screen to change the font, color, size, etc. Once you’re happy with your text box, click on the “Insert” button and it will be added to your image.

Once you’re happy with your image, click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner and select the file format you want to use. Canva currently supports PNG, JPG, and PDF formats.

In conclusion, adding a picture into Canva is a very easy process that only requires a few clicks. First, you need to upload your image by clicking on the “Uploads” tab and then selecting the “Upload Media” button.

Next, move and resize your image as needed before adding any text boxes. Finally, when everything looks good, click on the “Download” button in order save your work in one of three different file formats.
