How Do You Keep the Scroll Position in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:33 am

There are many ways to keep the scroll position in Figma. The most common method is to use the “Keep in Frame” option when creating your frames. This will keep the scroll position within the frame, even if you move or resize the frame.

Another method is to use the “Lock Position” option when selecting an object. This will lock the object’s position relative to the top left corner of the frame, even if you move or resize the frame.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, it is easy to accidentally change the scroll position in Figma. For example, if you click on the canvas and then drag your mouse, the scroll position will change. To avoid this, make sure to click on the “Hand” tool before clicking on the canvas.

You can also use the “Snap to Grid” option to align objects with each other. This can help you keep objects in their proper place, especially if you’re trying to create a symmetrical design.

Finally, you can use the “Align Objects” options to align objects with each other. This is helpful if you want to make sure all your objects are properly aligned, especially if you’re working with a lot of objects at once.
