How Do You Make a 3D Model in Photoshop?

In Photoshop, there are a number of ways to create 3D models. One way is to use the 3D tools in the toolbar. With these tools, you can create basic geometric shapes and then manipulate them to create more complex 3D models.

Another way to create 3D models in Photoshop is to use the Extrude tool. This tool allows you to take a 2D image and turn it into a 3D model.

To use the Extrude tool, first select the layer that you want to extrude. Then, go to the 3D menu and select “New Shape from Layer”. In the dialog box that appears, select “Extrude” from the drop-down menu.

Once you have extruded your layer, you can then manipulate it to change its shape. To do this, go to the 3D menu and select “Edit Mesh”. This will allow you to move individual vertices around to change the shape of your model.

PRO TIP: 3D models can be created in Photoshop, but the process is complex and time-consuming. It is not recommended for beginners.

If you want to add color to your 3D model, you can do so by creating a new material. To do this, go to the 3D menu and select “New Material”. In the dialog box that appears, select “Color” from the drop-down menu and then click “OK”.

Once you have created your material, you can then apply it to your model by selecting it and then clicking on the “Assign Material” button in the Materials panel.

You can also add texture to your 3D model by creating a new texture. To do this, go to the 3D menu and select “New Texture”. In the dialog box that appears, select “Image” from the drop-down menu and then click “OK”.

Once you have created your texture, you can then apply it to your model by selecting it and then clicking on the “Apply Texture” button in the Textures panel.
