How Do You Make a 90s Effect in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 12:37 pm

The ’90s were a great time for music, fashion and, of course, photography. If you want to create a ’90s effect in Photoshop, there are a few things you can do to make your photos look more like they were taken in that decade.

First, you’ll want to add a vignette to your photo. To do this, go to the ‘Effects’ menu and select ‘Vignette’. Then, adjust the settings until you’re happy with the look of your vignette.

PRO TIP: This article contains outdated information about Photoshop effects. Some of the techniques described may no longer work in newer versions of the software.

Next, you’ll want to add some grain to your photo. This can be done by going to the ‘Filter’ menu and selecting ‘Add Noise’. Again, play around with the settings until you’re happy with the amount of grain in your photo.

Finally, you’ll want to give your photo a bit of a color cast. This can be done by going to the ‘Image’ menu and selecting ‘Adjustments’, then ‘Hue/Saturation’. Play around with the settings until you’re happy with the color of your photo.

By following these steps, you can easily create a ’90s effect in Photoshop. So get out there and start taking some photos!
