How Do You Make a Dot Pattern in Photoshop?

Dot patterns are a great way to add interest and texture to your designs, and they’re easy to make in Photoshop! Here’s how:

1. Create a new layer in your document.

2. Choose the Paint Bucket Tool from the Tools palette, and make sure that the Foreground color is set to black.

3. Click on the document to fill the layer with black.

4. Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise.

5. In the Add Noise dialog box, set the Amount to 5%, Distribution to Gaussian, and check the Monochromatic option.

6. Click OK to add noise to the layer.

7. Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

8. In the Gaussian Blur dialog box, set the Radius to 1 pixel and click OK.

9. Change the layer Blend Mode to Overlay.

Your dot pattern is now complete!

PRO TIP: This tutorial teaches you how to make a dot pattern in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that this technique can only be used in Photoshop CS6 or earlier. If you are using a newer version of Photoshop, you will need to use a different method to create dot patterns.
